What is it?

The U13 – U14 Competitive Program is the next stepping-stone for Excel Pro players who strive for excellence and a continued competitive pathway. This is an opportunity for the players to improve their knowledge of the game, tactical understanding and technical skills.

At this level skill training and training loads are increased to develop and improve techniques and tactics. Tactical awareness becomes an increasingly important factor of training, alongside mental toughness, concentration and resilience. Game formats also switch from previously encouraged 9v9 at U14 level to 11v11.

Player Uniforms and Equipment

At Excel Pro Soccer Academy, all players will receive full uniform upon registration. Uniforms consist of a jersey, shorts, and pair of socks. This uniform is to be worn at each session. Game day uniforms are separately given upon being selected for the team which includes players jersey number!

All players are to bring their own shoes and shin pads. Running shoes are not acceptable. Please note that shin pads are mandatory during all games and training sessions!
